The All-Star weekend gives us all a chance to get to know players better as they usually let their guard down during this weekend spectacle. For Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic, this came in the form of a rather peculiar question from a reporter that pertained to the Valentine’s Day holiday.
Sometimes these questions at Media Day are kind of out of line. Some young lady asked Luka Doncic: "Luka, do you have a valentine?" "What's that," asked Luka. Reporter: "Do you have a valentine? It's Valentine's Day." Luka: "Yeah."

Doncic appeared to be confused by the question and did not know how to properly respond to the same. Truth be told, the question was a bit intrusive considering how players are in no way obliged to share the details of their personal lives. It was all in good fun, though, and the 20-year-old Mavs franchise player did not seem to take offense so it’s all good.
On Friday, the Mavs All-Star took part in the Rising Stars Challenge as part of Team World. The reigning Rookie of the Year finished with 16 points and five dimes, as he played his role in what was a truly entertaining contest. It was Team USA that got the victory, though, making easy work of Doncic and company for a 151-131 victory. The final score did not seem to matter too much, however, with the participants able to deliver a great show for the fans.
Doncic will be back in action again on Sunday, as he takes part in the highly-anticipated All-Star game. The Slovenian national was one of the top vote-getters this season, so he will be starting as part of Team LeBron. This will be Doncic’s first appearance in the All-Star game, but there’s little doubt that he will be able to make his mark.
