Dallas Mavericks sharpshooter Seth Curry says Mavs star Luka Doncic reminds him of LeBron James.

Curry has been very impressed by the way Doncic approaches the game and says he sees a lot of LeBron in Luka.

“I’m very impressed. He’s very consistent with how he’s playing, and we know he’s talented and can do a lot of stuff. But he’s bringing it every night. So that’s probably the most impressive thing about him to me,” Curry told Michael C. Wright of NBA.com.

“He kind of does his own thing. I would say he’s like LeBron with his size and ballhandling, and playmaking ability. He can make all types of passes because he’s so big and he can see everything. Obviously, he’s not as athletic and he can shoot the ball better, but I think their styles of play are similar.”

Seth also claimed that Luka has the ability to “win everything” individually and collectively — from regular season MVP awards to championships. He noted that as long as the Mavs star stays healthy and is surrounded by the “right pieces,” he has a chance to be great.

Doncic has taken the NBA world by storm, similar to how LeBron did when he was a youngster with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The reigning Rookie of the Year said last season he was surprised how well he played and now he's an MVP candidate and the new face of the Mavs franchise in the post-Dirk Nowitzki era.

Luka is averaging 28.5 points, 9.3 rebounds and 8.8 assists on the season for the Mavs while shooting 46.1 percent from the field, 31.5 percent from beyond the arc and 76.5 percent from the free-throw line.

Barring a late season collapse, the Mavs appear on their way to making the playoffs for the first time since 2016. Basketball fans are anxious to see Luka Doncic and fellow All-Star big man Kristaps Porzingis on the NBA’s biggest stage.
