Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic was on fire again on Sunday, as he led the Mavs to a crucial Game 4 victory against the Los Angeles Clippers. Doncic was so good throughout the contest that it's easy to forget that he was actually playing through a sprained ankle.

Doncic himself provided an update on his injury after the game, admitting how he's playing through a bit of pain right now:

Luka Doncic sustained the injury in Dallas' Game 3 loss on Friday, and there was actually some doubt as to whether or not he would be able to suit up for Sunday's matchup. Fortunately for the Mavs, the 21-year-old was able to recover in time to take the floor for Game 4.

It is not clear if this injury will continue to bother Doncic the rest of the way, but if his performance on Sunday was any indication then the rest of the league better be on the lookout. Despite not being a hundred percent, Doncic finished with another astounding triple-double with a game-high 43 points, 17 rebounds, and 13 assists on the evening. He's already been unstoppable as it is, so we can only imagine how he'll fare without any injury.

With the series now tied at two games a piece, Game 5 on Tuesday will be huge for both sides. The second-seeded Clippers are still considered the favorites to come out of this series, but with how Doncic has been playing of late, a first-round upset is by no means not out of reach for the Mavs.
