The bad news for Dallas Mavericks fans? 29-year-old sharpshooter Seth Curry suffered an ankle injury while enjoying arguably the best stretch of his career. The good news? Per Mavs head coach Rick Carlisle, Curry's injury doesn't seem to be very serious.

Curry left Friday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies at half time and did not return to the action. In that first half, the 6-foot-2 guard scored 15 points on 7-9 shooting from the field.

Dallas' injury list has grown over the past few weeks. In addition to Curry, the Mavs could be without Dorian Finney-Smith, point guards J.J. Barea and Jalen Brunson, shooting guard Tim Hardaway Jr. while second-year superstar Luka Doncic was questionable for Friday's game and starting center Dwight Powell has been ruled out for the season.

As for Curry, already known as a knockdown shooter, the sixth-year pro has taken his game to a whole new level as of late. In his last 11 games, the older Curry brother has averaged 19.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game while shooting 57.2 percent from the field and a blistering hot 57.3 percent from deep.

Curry's hot streak included a 37-point outburst against the Miami Heat at the end of February and the three-point marksman's next chance to return will be when Dallas faces off against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.
