Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh is being courted by multiple NFL franchises as the head coach prepares to lead his Wolverines team to a national championship appearance. Harbaugh is being approached by the L.A. Chargers and several other NFL teams, per NFL Network.

Harbaugh has Michigan football in the national championship for the first time in three-straight College Football Playoff appearances. The Wolverines defeated Alabama in the Rose Bowl, 27-20, in overtime. Michigan and Washington play in the national championship on Monday.

Harbaugh may be coaching his final game on the Michigan sideline that day. The head coach recently hired a new agent, Don Yee, that made headlines as Yee has represented several high-profile NFL players and coaches. Harbaugh is also a coach that has spent time in the pros, leading the San Francisco 49ers to a Super Bowl appearance several years ago.

The Chargers are not the only team interested. The Raiders are reportedly also hoping to speak with the Michigan coach about their head coaching position. Harbaugh may have his pick of locations if he chooses to head back to the NFL.

While Harbaugh has had great success at Michigan the last three years, he's also seen some controversy. The school has been embroiled in an NCAA investigation this season over allegations the Michigan football program stole signs from other schools. The Big Ten conference suspended Harbaugh for several games as a result of the probe. The school also parted ways with an analyst and linebackers coach due to the investigation.

Sherrone Moore coached the team for the final three games of the regular season, including a huge win for Michigan over Ohio State. Harbaugh denied any wrongdoing over the matter.

Michigan and Washington play in the CFP Final Monday night at 7:30 Eastern.
