Players can now pick up from where they left off in Minecraft Dungeons regardless of where they play.
Minecraft Dungeons receives cloud saves support, game enhancements in latest update
Players will finally be able to play Minecraft Dungeons wherever they go, literally. For those who have the game on multiple platforms, this may be the best news they'd be receiving today. Minecraft Dungeons finally have cross-save functionality starting today! For more details on how to make use of the cross-save feature, check out the Minecraft support article here.
This cross-save feature follows up on the cross-platform play that was only recently introduced as well. Now, Minecraft Dungeons is truly for everyone, and kids won't have to worry about what consoles their friends have. They can just go their merry way and play with their buddies and explore dungeons with no worries.
Meanwhile, there have also been a couple of quality-of-life changes in the game through this update. One of the most important changes involves having descriptions more succinct and understandable. Traditional and Simplified Chinese support also now exists for both audio and text of the game.
Minecraft Dungeons lets players explore the blocky world in a whole new way. While crafting still exists as a core mechanic, the game focuses more on combat and exploration. It's similar to games like Torchlight, Diablo, and Path of Exile, but with a more kid-friendly theme. It's Minecraft, after all.
