The injuries keep mounting for the Atlanta Braves as they aim to make another trip to the National League playoffs. Now, hurler Huascar Ynoa will be out for some time due to a punch in the dugout after leaving early from Sunday's start, according to Mark Bowman of MLB.com.
Ynoa broke his right hand when he punched the dugout after exiting yesterday's start. He'll miss at least a couple months

Ynoa lasted just 4.1 innings while he gave up nine hits and five runs- all earned. The Braves ended up losing to the Milwaukee Brewers by a score of 10-9. For the most part, Ynoa has been solid to start the 2021 season. Following Sunday's collapse, he had a 4-2 record with a 3.02 ERA.
The Braves are already without Mike Soroka, so yet another injury to their pitching staff after entering the year with one of the better groups in the league. As Ynoa will miss a few months, Braves manager Brian Snitker gave his thoughts on the injury.
Huascar Ynoa broke a bone in his pitching hand when he punched the dugout bench in frustration after coming out of Sunday's game. He will be out a couple of months, #Braves manager Brian Snitker said. "It's a shame," Snitker said. "Probably nobody that feels any worse than him."

That couldn't be more true. A non-baseball injury is always tough to deal with, especially one in frustration, as Ynoa did on Sunday. The Braves have been a mild disappointment to start the season, as they are two games below .500 and third in the National League East behind the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets.
After a playoff run last season, a couple of injuries to some key pitchers will be a lot to overcome for this ball club. Still, never count the Braves out, especially with a lineup that features Ronald Acuna Jr., Freddie Freeman, and Ozzie Albies.
