After a wild MLB trade deadline that saw the Chicago Cubs put on a fire sale that included the departure of Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo and Javy Baez, the former Cubs have all hit home runs in each of their respective debuts.
This historical feat started with Rizzo, who was traded to the New York Yankees. He hit a solo shot to right field:

Baez, who was traded to the New York Mets, followed it with a two-run shot to left-center field:

Kris Bryant, recently traded to the San Francisco Giants, finished off the trio of homers by hitting a solo shot to left field:

According to Stats by STATS, this is the first trio to achieve such an amazing feature, and it might make Cubs fans cringe a little bit:
Former Cubs Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo and Javier Baez all homered in their debuts with their new teams.
They are the first trio in the modern era to each homer in their debut with a different team after playing on the same team earlier that season.

While it is hard to see these Cubs legends in different uniforms, fans should be happy to see them do so well. They have won the respect and love of all fans alike. Their big bats may have not been helpful for the team, but they should be able to perform big time for their new teams once the postseason arrives in October.
Fans will get to at least one of the trio play in Wrigley field come September (Kris Bryant). Regardless, Cubs fans should be looking towards the new talent that the team acquired during the trade deadline. With a younger roster and some solid veterans, it shouldn't take long for the team to find themselves yet again in playoff contention.
Regardless, let us take some time to sink in and enjoy the big three, as they will forever be Cubs in fans' hearts.
