The Golden State Warriors are one of the most popular teams in the NBA right now. As a matter of fact, their global acclaim probably far exceeds their popularity within the U.S. This was primarily brought about by the team's success in the mid-2010s as they established their dynasty. With a highly-likable Stephen Curry as the face of their franchise, as well as winning no less than three championships in four years, it was an instant recipe for success in terms of building a huge fan following.
The Warriors Nation — as they have been so aptly referred to of late — does not only consist of everyday fans. As a matter of fact, the Dubs are probably one of the teams in the NBA with the biggest celebrity following. Below we have rounded up some of the biggest celebrity Warriors fan — both the newer ones and those that have stuck it out with the team even before they were winning.
George Lucas
George Lucas, the man behind the epic Star Wars saga, was born in Modesto, California, which is around an hour and a half drive from the Bay Area. He is a life-long Warriors fan, and at one point, it was even reported that he had plans to purchase a share of the team's ownership. Lucas was photographed attending Game 4 of the 2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors.
Jessica Alba
Unlike younger fans, former Hollywood A-Lister Jessica Alba can say that she was a proud Warriors fan even before the dynasty days. You will notice in the photos below that the merchandise Alba had on still bore the old Warriors logo. The We Believe Warriors made headlines during the 2006-07 season, which makes it clear that Alba is no bandwagoner.
Kate Hudson
Much like Alba, actress Kate Hudson has also been following the Dubs since the early 2000s. As a matter of fact, former Dubs star Stephen Jackson even shared an amazing story of himself once smoking with Hudson and the aforementioned Alba.

Carlos Santana
Renowned Grammy-award winning guitarist Carlos Santana is also a pretty huge Dubs fan. Santana also amazingly performed the U.S. National Anthem in Game 2 of the 2017 NBA Finals in Oracle Arena, and did an encore performance at almost the exact same time the following year. He also happens to be a Bay Area legend and a long-time Dubs fan.

Manny Pacquiao
Filipino fighter Manny Pacquiao is not only one of the greatest boxers of all time, but he also happens to be a huge basketball fan. So much so, that he even owns (and payed for) a professional basketball team in his home nation. As for the NBA, one of his favorite teams is none other than Golden State. Not only has he attended a handful of live Warriors games, but he has actually graced the Warriors practice facility.
