Only two weeks before the release of NBA 2K18's The Prelude, the developers of the game have shared yet another glorious nugget with the inclusion of Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett as two special in-game commentary guests, as it often happens during ESPN and TNT broadcasts.

The addition of these two legends of the sport (both of which have been honored with the cover — NBA 2K10 and NBA 2K7, respectively) brings another level of realism into the game.

Both of these players are known as highly cerebral personalities with a lot of insight into the game and now they share that with the game, detailing their opinions about the current stars of a team and sharing stories about their playing days, just like they do during real broadcasts.

This trailer also gives a glimpse into the game's cover athlete, Kyrie Irving, donning his new Boston Celtics uniform (though who knows for how long?) and displaying his signature isolation-heavy game and clutch plays on the floor.

Whether it is the Black Mamba giving his take on Irving's talents or KG telling stories about guarding Legend Edition cover athlete Shaquille O'Neal during his playing days, this iteration of NBA2K is sure to meet and exceed expectations with a keen attention to detail.
