The NBA 2K season is just waiting around the corner, and that also means we are to look out for a bunch of exciting trailers and previews. NBA 2K19 just released an adrenaline-pumping trailer, with The Ringer's Bill Simmons joining Kevin Harlan and the rest of the 2K broadcast team.

The game burst the bubble when it announced that Simmons will be joining Kevin Garnett and Kobe Bryant in the broadcast booth.

Simmons has been a staple voice in the basketball community with his “The Bill Simmons Podcast” and his bold sports analysis and predictions. The new 2K trailer features what fans would expect in this year's version of the gameplay, with emphasis on its solid audio and broadcast line-up.

The famous basketball analyst will join NBA 2K's formidable broadcast booth that will bring back Kobe and KG as guest commentators. It could be recalled that the game first expanded its broadcast team with NBA on TNT's Shaquille O'neal, Ernie Johnson, and Kenny Smith featured in in-game shows and analysis.

Simmons is an interesting addition to the game's broadcast team, though the trailer caught him uttering bold statements for which he became famous for. Andrew Bucholtz of Awful Announcing took some notes on it.

The trailer includes Harlan calling Simmons a “sportswriting heavyweight,” Simmons saying “I was there for every step of the video game revolution,” Simmons talking about voting Ben Simmons third or maybe second-team All-NBA, Simmons saying LeBron is “indestructible” and would put his leg back on if it rolled off, and more. It also involves him praising a Celtics’ player, Jayson Tatum, saying “Tatum is so much better than I think anyone expected; this guy is a future MVP candidate.” Sadly, there is not a “No one denies this!”

NBA 2K19 has added new features every year, and the Simmons' inclusion could be a perfect fit.
