Ben Simmons and the Sixers were one of the teams who made big moves. They acquired Tobias Harris from the LA Clippers, which subsequently created a big four in Philly. Now, they have an All-Star line-up in Simmons, Harris, Joel Embiid, and Jimmy Butler. Many analysts believe that the trade made Philly immediate favorites to win the East.

The Lakers, meanwhile, were not able to seal the Anthony Davis trade. They will have to salvage some wins given their current roster — a squad which hasn’t yielded great results. They would have to wait for another offseason to make a run for Davis or for another free agent who can co-exist with James.
