NBA hopeful LiAngelo Ball worked out with the Golden State Warriors recently and shared some of his thoughts as the draft nears.

LiAngelo, a 6'5″ guard, is the brother of Los Angeles Lakers rising star Lonzo Ball. Analysts believe that he has a relatively slim chance of getting selected on draft night, however.

The younger Ball believes that he made the right choice of skipping college and playing overseas. For him, he wouldn't be here right now if it weren't for his decision. In a report by Mark Medina of The Mercury News, Ball said:

“I think it wouldn’t have been where I’m at right now. Going overseas helped me more, in my opinion,” Ball said. “I didn’t get the type of playing time that I thought I would get [at UCLA]. When I went overseas, I was able to develop better.”

He seems aware that he's not receiving the same type of hype that his brother Lonzo had before. Analysts and critics have not even dared to compare the two — probably because there's nothing worth to compare. Despite this, Ball remains confident that he'll get picked, but at the same time, he's open to other possibilities. Not getting selected is not the end of it:

“I feel pretty good going into the draft. I feel like I’m going to get drafted,” Ball said. “I feel like I can produce for a team. But if I don’t, I’ll go to the G-League, be a free agent or join a summer-league team.

“I’m looking forward to all options.”
