The Golden State Warriors survived a feisty fightback from the Toronto Raptors in Game 2 to tie the NBA Finals series at 1-1.

The Warriors, who were up by 11 points midway through the fourth quarter, found themselves up by only two in the final 13 seconds of the game. However, Andre Iguodala banked a 3-pointer to give the Dubs a comfortable cushion and win 109-104.

After trailing by five at the end of the first half, the Warriors used a huge 34-21 third quarter to turn that deficit into an eight-point lead heading into the final 12 minutes of the game. The Raptors made a huge run of their own in the fourth quarter and managed to get into striking distance, 106-104, on a Danny Green triple with less than a minute left to play.

Klay Thompson led the Warriors with 25 points, five rebounds and five assists before leaving the game early in the fourth with an injury. Stephen Curry added 24 points, four assists and three rebounds, while Draymond Green was one assist shy from another triple-double with 17 markers, 10 boards and nine dimes.

Kawhi Leonard had another monster game for the Raptors, putting up 34 points and 14 rebounds. However, he didn't get the same production from the guys who stepped up in Game 1. Marc Gasol and Pascal Siakam combined for only 18 points, way below than their combined 52-point output in Game 1.

Fred VanVleet came off the bench with 17 points.

The series will now shift to Oakland for Games 3 and 4 on Wednesday and Friday respectively, and the Warriors have all the momentum they need. In addition, Kevin Durant — who hasn't played since the Western Conference semi-finals — could make his return within Golden State's homestand.
