Four players on the Brooklyn Nets have tested positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

The organization made the announcement in a press release on Tuesday afternoon.

“Of the four, one player is exhibiting symptoms while three are asymptomatic. All four players are presently isolated and under the care of team physicians,” the statement read. The team added that they would be contacting all those who may have recently come into contact with the players who tested positive. The statement did not mention which players contracted the virus.

The Nets disclosure brings the numbers of NBA players who have publicly revealed to have tested positive to seven—joining Utah Jazz players Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell, along with Christian Wood of the Detroit Pistons.

The NBA's hiatus in the wake of the pandemic could last until mid-to-late June, at the earliest. On Sunday, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention recommended no public gatherings of 50 or more people for at least eight weeks. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo ordered the indefinitely closure of many of the city's public establishments on Tuesday, and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio warned residents that a “shelter in place” order is likely to go in place within the next 48 hours.
