Denver Nuggets guard Isaiah Thomas said he would've beaten the guy who clotheslined former NBA player Terrence Jones in a game that was played in the Philippines a couple of days ago.

Jones, who spent most of his NBA career with the Houston Rockets, is playing for the TNT Katropa in the Philippine Basketball Association. The guy who gave him the cheap shot is named Calvin Abueva, playing for Phoenix Pulse and one of the most controversial players in that league.

Things got heated up between the two the previous possession when Abueva pushed Jones, who fell down to the floor. As the latter was standing up, he retaliated with what looked like a low blow.

Abueva shrugged it off, then in the next possession, that's when he hit Jones with the clothesline. He was then ejected after the game.

After careful deliberation, the top-ranking officials of the PBA has suspended Abueva indefinitely and has fined him Php70,000 or close to $1,350.

Prior to this, Abueva was already involved in heckling a female fan during their previous game. He reportedly did leud gestures in front of the lady, who was later identified as the girlfriend of another PBA player.

As for Jones, he didn't let the incident affect his game as he continued to dominate that league. He has scored 40 points in three of his team's last four games, and they're currently at the top of the standings at the moment.
