NBA champion Metta World Peace, formerly Ron Artest, went on Instagram live and interacted with some fans. While reading comments, the former Defensive Player of the Year saw a question from ClutchPoints that caught his eye: Who's the better 3-point shooter: Stephen Curry or Reggie Miller?

While many believe the Golden State Warriors superstar is the greatest shooter of all time, World Peace thinks his former Indiana Pacers teammate is just as good:

To be fair, Miller did hold the record for most 3-point field goals made in NBA history when he retired. The Pacers star finished with 2,560 triples through his 18-year career. Ray Allen broke the record in 2011 and still holds it, finishing with 2,973 for his illustrious career.

Stephen Curry, meanwhile, currently has 2,495 threes etched to his name. There's no doubt that the two-time league MVP will eventually supplant Miller for the no. 2 spot. He is also very much on pace to become the all-time 3-point king when it's all said and done.

Looking at Curry's total career 3-point total, he would have undoubtedly moved past Miller had he not missed the majority of the 2019-20 season due to a broken hand he suffered earlier in the season.

When Miller retired following the 2004-05 season, many considered him the best shooter of all time. However, Curry now holds that illustrious title with how much he changed the game of basketball because of his elite marksmanship from downtown.

Most of Miller's looks from beyond the arc came off catch-and-shoot situations as he wove around through screens. Curry is just as good in running around the screens and finding an open spot. However, what separated Curry from any other marksman in NBA history is his elite skill to shoot efficiently from beyond the arc while coming off the dribble.

Nonetheless, Curry and Miller are two of the greatest shooters of all time. One can only imagine how much of a field day Miller Time would have if he played in this era.
