The Denver Nuggets have traded Bol Bol to the Detroit Pistons for Rodney McGruder and a future second-round pick.

This isn't a big trade by any means, but it is a good decision from the Pistons because they are getting a young center who could be part of their rebuild. He hasn't played much for the Nuggets in his time there so this will offer Bol Bol a chance to get to play on a young team and help his development.

It'll be interesting to see what the Nuggets decide to do because they are likely going to wave somebody. They are going to sign DeMarcus Cousins to a 10-day contract and could potentially keep him for the rest of the season.

Neither team has been playing well this season but the Nuggets' lack of success can certainly be put on their inability to stay healthy as they are missing both Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. The Pistons are currently 8-30 but that was to be expected. Coming into the season, not many people had high expectations for them because they are a rebuilding team.

Bol Bol isn't somebody who's going to come in and suddenly turn around the Piston season, but he could be somebody that they do decide to keep for some time as they go through their rebuild process. He has a lot of potential in this league due to just how big he is.
