LaMelo Ball, one of the top prospects in the 2020 NBA Draft, will be out for a month due to a foot injury, per Jonathan Givony of ESPN.

LaMelo Ball, the youngest brother of New Orleans Pelicans guard Lonzo Ball, is currently in the NBL playing for the Illawara Hawks. He's currently averaging 17.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game while shooting 37 percent from the field and 72 percent from the free-throw line.

LaMelo has garnered the attention of various NBA teams for his oozing talent on the court, which is highlighted by his passing ability and court vision. Not to mention that he is just 18-years-old with plenty to learn.

From the looks of it, Ball seems to have forged a steady path to the NBA. But just a few years ago, his road to the big leagues was seemingly sidetracked as his father, LaVar Ball, decided that it's best for his son to jump straight to the professional leagues to boost his learning experience.

This decision did not turn out well, as Ball's eligibility to play in the NCAA was questioned. Players with professional experience are not allowed to step foot in the NCAA, so Ball's decision was and still is considered a radical move.

Now that the dust has settled, however, LaMelo's talent continues to speak for itself. He just has to get past this injury and continue showcasing his basketball skills.
