Ryan Hollins' regular appearance from ESPN's shows has frustrated a lot of NBA fans. People believe that the former NBA player doesn't know most of what he's talking about. He's made a lot of controversial claims that often surprises even his colleagues, and he's back at it with another one.

In a recent episode of โ€œJalen and Jacoby,โ€ Hollins was asked to rank his five best backcourt tandems next season. He put Houston Rockets' James Harden and Russell Westbrook at first, then, to the surprise of many, he ranked Portland Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum ahead of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors.

Hollins might be making the assumption that because Thompson is injured, there is no way that he and Curry can be as good as they were next season. However, in arguments like this, injuries don't usually play as a factor in determining who's the best because using someone's injury against him is unfair.

When healthy, Curry and Thompson have led the Warriors to three championships in five years, something that Lillard and McCollum, have never done in their careers.

Oh, by the way, Hollins is a huge LeBron James fan, so he put the Los Angeles Lakers superstar along with Danny Green as his fifth-best backcourt tandem. Just to remind everyone, James usually plays the small forward position. Although there were rumors about him potentially being the starting point guard of the Purple and Gold next season because the team actually has a lot of actual point guards.
