Why The Bucks Could Cover The Spread
The Milwaukee Bucks have been impressive lately. This team has come together and is beginning to gain momentum. In their last game they managed to take down a very solid Cleveland Cavaliers team, winning 112-104. The Bucks will look to carry their momentum from their last two games into Wednesday night's match-up. Milwaukee battled Miami only two games ago and they came out of that game victorious. They will definitely try to repeat their performance from that night on Wednesday, and they should be able to.
Leading the way for the Milwaukee Bucks is Giannis Antetokounmpo. Giannis is quite possibly the best player in the NBA. He had to miss one game due to injury, but has since returned and made an immediate impact for Milwaukee. That was Middleton's fourth game in a row scoring 20+ points. If he can start knocking down shots on Wednesday then the Bucks will have no problem stealing a road win. The Miami Heat have been struggling recently. This team has been hit with some devastating injuries, yet they have shown that they can battle. They are coming off a 15 point loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. If the Heat wants to win on Wednesday they are going to need to turn things around quickly. Since Miami will be without some of their best players, a big part of this game will be seeing how the bench and other starters can step up. Players will be getting opportunities to make an impact in this game and if they can rise to the occasion then they might just make this competitive.
One of the biggest bright spots for this Heat team has been Tyler Herro. Herro is only in his third year in the NBA but he has really progressed as a player. In their loss to Memphis, Herro managed to drop 24 points in only 28 minutes of play. If he can continue to score the ball efficiently then he might keep his team in the game. The Heat will likely lean on Herro a lot on Wednesday, so expect the young guard to potentially have a big night.
Another bright spot for Miami has been Kyle Lowry. Lowry provides this Heat team with balance and experience. This is Lowry's 17th year in the NBA, and he has shown that he can still impact games. This is a pretty easy decision. Honestly, the line should probably be set a bit wider. The Bucks and Heat already battled each other only two games ago, and Milwaukee demolished Miami 124-102.
