New York Knicks PK (-110)

Over 216 Points (-110)

Under 216 Points (-110)

Why The Grizzlies Could Cover The Spread

The Memphis Grizzlies have been playing terrific basketball lately. The Grizzlies are looking to sweep their four-game road trip on Friday night. They have won four straight games coming in, three of which have been against Eastern Conference opponents. Memphis has scored at least 116 points in each of the four wins and is looking to head home for a three-game home stand on a high note.

In their most recent win, Memphis saw six players score in double figures, including all five starters and one guy off the bench. Grayson Allen led the way for the Grizzlies with 30 points. Jonas Valanciunas registered a double-double in the win, going for 19 points and 11 boards. Superstar point guard Ja Morant added 19 points, seven assists, and seven rebounds of his own. Memphis is playing so well together right now as they've covered in six straight games. They've also covered in 10 straight games against Eastern Conference opponents.

Why The Knicks Could Cover The Spread

It's really incredible to say this late in the season that the New York Knicks are still the best defensive team in the league. They are allowing just 104.1 points per game and never lack effort on that end of the floor. New York is definitely going through a tough slump right now, having lost five of their last six games and failing to reach 100 points in three of them. The Knicks lost a two-point heart-breaker in their most recent game against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night.

The loss in Boston catapulted the Celtics past the Knicks in the Eastern Conference standings. The biggest takeaway from the loss was the continued success of RJ Barrett. Barrett's outside shooting has rapidly evolved in his sophomore season as the Knicks second-leading scorer dropped 29 in the loss on 6-6 shooting from deep. Julius Randle continued his success in the game, adding 22 points, nine rebounds, six assists, three steals, and a block for the Knicks. Derrick Rose was the only other double-digit scorer for New York. Despite the struggles, the Knicks are still 6-3 ATS in their last nine games.

Final Grizzlies-Knicks Prediction & Pick

In my opinion, oddsmakers are being a bit generous to the struggling Knicks right now. There is a clear disparity in this matchup, especially of late. Memphis is playing phenomenal all-around basketball and comes into this game riding a ton of momentum. They have absolutely dominated the Eastern Conference in recent history as well. The Knicks struggles on offense are extremely alarming to me and will be the ultimate difference maker in this game tonight. I see this being a great value spot to capitalize on.

FINAL PICK: Memphis Grizzlies PK (-110)
