The Denver Nuggets will play the Golden State Warriors in a Western Conference matchup on Tuesday evening. It's time continue our NBA odds series with a Nuggets-Warriors prediction and pick.

The Nuggets and Warriors will play on Tuesday as Golden State will look to stay hot despite having a few players tied up in health and safety protocols. Draymond Green was the latest Warrior added to the protocols, while Jordan Poole appears to be set to rejoin the team after his absence. Bol Bol is currently the only Nugget listed in protocols, but Denver has their fair share of traditional injuries. Golden State comes into this one as home favorites over the Nuggets.

Here is how FanDuel has set the Nuggets-Warriors odds for this Tuesday NBA matchup.

NBA Odds: Nuggets-Warriors Odds

Denver Nuggets +7 (-110)

Golden State Warriors -7 (-110)

Over 217.5 (-108)

Under 217.5 (-112)

Why The Nuggets Could Cover The Spread

The Nuggets are a bit banged up, but they may be catching the Warriors at the right time as Draymond Green will be out. Nikola Jokic should be able to go to work inside without worrying about Green's defensive prowess. Jokic has been able to keep the Nuggets afloat this season as Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. are out due to injury. In this matchup between two MVP hopefuls, the Nuggets will have a chance as long as Jokic brings his usual MVP-like effort and performance.

Denver vs. the spread

The Nuggets are 7-11 vs. the spread on the road this season and 5-7 as road underdogs vs. the number. Denver is 4-6 vs. the spread in their last ten games and has not covered in four of their last five.

Why The Warriors Could Cover The Spread

Golden State may be missing Draymond Green, but they should be able to make up for some of the defensive void left by Green. Andre Iguodala is probable to play on Tuesday after missing the last couple, so that should be a boost for the Warriors with Green on the shelf due to health and safety protocols. Damion Lee and rookie Moses Moody will also be out due to the protocols on Tuesday barring a change. The Warriors are still laying quite a bit of points despite being without their best defensive player in Green. This is not the most favorable position the Warriors have been in from a betting standpoint this season.

Golden State vs. the spread

The Warriors have covered in five of their last six games, and are 21-10-2 vs. the spread this season. Golden State is 13-4-1 against the points at home this season, and they have been favored in all 18 of their home games this season so far heading into Tuesday's action.

Final Nuggets-Warriors Prediction and Pick

The Nuggets are a scrappy team, and have the ability to knock off Golden State on the road. The absence of Green makes the upset an even more realistic possibility for the (still) shorthanded Nuggets. The Warriors are however difficult to fade as they have been so good at home this season, both outright and against the spread. Take the Nuggets and the points in this one, but the Warriors should be able to pull out the win. Jokic should be able to keep Denver in the game, however.

Final Nuggets-Warriors Prediction & Pick: Nuggets +7 (-110)
