The San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors will matchup on Saturday evening in a Western Conference matchup. It's time to continue our NBA odds series with a Spurs-Warriors prediction and pick.

The Spurs and Warriors will play on Saturday night as the Warriors will look to be the first team in the NBA to reach 20 wins this season. Golden State snapped the Suns' 18-game win streak on Friday, and will look to complete the back-to-back sweep in this matchup vs. San Antonio. The Spurs come into this matchup on a three-game win streak after a 4-13 start to their season. The Warriors come in as big favorites over the Spurs in this one to little surprise.

Why The Spurs Can Cover The Spread

The Spurs will have a rest advantage in this spot as they did not play on Friday night. San Antonio will still face an uphill battle to knock off a surging Warriors team that has lost just three games all season. Dejounte Murray is off to a strong start to the season for the Spurs as he leads the team in points, rebounds and assists per game. Murray will face his toughest test of the season matchup up vs. Stephen Curry on Saturday, as Curry is off to an MVP type start to his season.

San Antonio is 11-9 vs. the spread this season and has covered in three straight games. The Spurs are however just 3-7 outright on the road this season, making a win very unlikely barring the Warriors sitting Curry and others on the back-to-back.

Why The Warriors Can Cover The Spread

There is at least some chance the Warriors sit some guys in this one. Coming off a two big matchups with the Phoenix Suns this week, Golden State may be in a spot to give some guys a breather on Saturday vs. the Spurs. Curry appeared to be healthy last night, so for now we will assume he and the other Warriors regulars play. Check back on the Warriors injury report before making any plays on Golden State, though, just to be safe. The Warriors have not yet released an injury report as of Saturday morning due to play last night. Look for that to come out later in the day closer to tonight's tip.

Golden State has been the best team in the NBA this season with a 19-3 record. If Curry and most of the other regulars take the floor, the Warriors should have no issue taking care of business vs. the Spurs on Saturday. The Warriors are 16-5-1 against the spread so far this season, and 12-1 outright on their home floor. The Warriors seem like a good bet anytime Curry and company take the floor right now.

Final Spurs-Warriors Prediction & Pick

The injury report will again be a big thing to watch with the Golden State being a big favorite on the back-to-back. If Curry and Draymond Green are both in, feel confident taking the Warriors to cover vs. the Spurs on Saturday night. If the Warriors sit guys, the odds will swing towards the Spurs obviously.

Final Spurs-Warriors Prediction & Pick: Warriors -8.5 (-110)
