The Golden State Warriors will face the Indiana Pacers on Monday in an inter-conference matchup. It's time to continue our NBA odds series with a Warriors-Pacers prediction and pick.
The Warriors will look to rebound from their loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday when they matchup with the Pacers on Monday night. Stephen Curry is on the cusp of NBA history, as he is now just seven three-pointers away from passing Ray Allen's all-time record for made three-pointers. He has a good shot to set the record tonight of course, as Curry can pop off for 7, 8, 9, 10 threes in a game at any moment. The Warriors are road favorites over the Pacers on Monday night.
Here is how FanDuel set the Warriors-Pacers odds for this Monday NBA matchup.
NBA Odds: Warriors-Pacers Odds
Golden State Warriors -3 (-108)
Indiana Pacers +3 (-112)

Why The Warriors Could Cover The Spread
Golden State has been one of the top teams in the NBA all season. Curry is off to an MVP caliber start to the season, and he probably would be MVP if the season ended today. The Warriors are powered partially by their defense, which has been one of if not the best defensive units in the league this season. Draymond Green of course helps head up the defense for Golden State, and he's looking spry. The return of Klay Thompson should only bolster the Warriors even more, as another shooter of that caliber obviously puts a lot more pressure on opponents.
The Warriors should be in good position to cover and win on Monday night with the spread being at a relatively low number. Golden State seems to be back to their play of old, as Curry is energizing an entire roster of shooters and young players who look primed to stay at the top of the West.
Golden State is 7-3 on the road this season and 17-8-1 vs. the spread overall.
Why The Pacers Could Cover The Spread
The Pacers are riding a three-game win streak into play on Monday night and could be primed for an upset bid in this one. Indiana is looking to climb out of a bit of a hole they dug for themselves early on in the season. Coach Rick Carlisle will miss this one in health and safety protocols, as assistant Lloyd Pierce will man the team in this one. Malcolm Brogdon and Domantas Sabonis have led the Pacers to a 9-6 record at home this season, while they are currently riding a three-game home win streak. This matchup with the Warriors will be an uphill battle as just modest underdogs. The Warriors will be looking to get back into the win column after losing on Saturday night.
The Pacers are 14-13-1 vs. the spread so far this season. They have covered in all three games on their current win streak.
Final Warriors-Pacers Prediction & Pick
The Warriors have been nearly a juggernaut early in this season, so take them to bounce back from their Saturday night loss in Philadelphia. Golden State should cover and win over a Pacers team that has been just okay so far this season. Curry should be able to flirt with, if not make history in what should be a win for the Warriors.
Final Warriors-Pacers prediction & pick: Warriors -3 (-112)
