The NBA trade deadline frenzy keeps on coming, as the Phoenix Suns and Indiana Pacers have agreed to a deal that sends Pacers forward Torrey Craig to the Suns in exchange for forward Jalen Smith and a future second-round pick. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported the news.

The latest NBA trade deadline deal will see the Suns ship away former lottery pick Jalen Smith for some depth on the wing in Torrey Craig. The Pacers' rebuild continues, as they add another young piece to their future core following the Domantas Sabonis-Tyrese Haliburton deal.

The Suns were rumored to be exploring deals for Smith, who couldn't seem to crack Phoenix's rotation. Still just 21 years old, the Maryland product is averaging 6.0 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in just 13.2 minutes. He'll fit nicely into the Pacers' future frontcourt plans, which took a hit with the Domantas Sabonis trade.

Craig, who played for Phoenix last year, will give the Suns some added depth on the wing behind Mikal Bridges, as well as another capable three-point shooter. He knocked down one trey per game at a 36.9 percent clip in just over 18 minutes for Phoenix last year.

It's an NBA trade deadline deal that seems to make sense for both sides, given the Suns' commitment to winning and the Pacers' rebuilding goal.
