JR Smith is still without an NBA deal, but that isn't stopping him from participating in offseason workouts with some of his closest friends, including LeBron James and Chris Paul.

Swish posted an Instagram video on Wednesday. In the clip, the trio can be seen listening to Travis Scott and Drake's “Sicko Mode” as they go through their workout routine. In fact, James and Smith seemed to know every lyric to the popular rap song:

Smith, now 33 years of age, was waived by the Cleveland Cavaliers on July 15, making him a free agent. As of now, he remains without a new deal, but several experts (and even some coaches) believe he could still contribute to an NBA team.

Even if he's signed as a backup, Smith could still be a viable option for some teams. The 33-year-old made 11 appearances with the Cavs last season, racking up averages of 6.7 points on 34.2 percent shooting from the field (30.8 percent from beyond the arc), 1.9 assists and 1.6 rebounds in 20.2 minutes per outing.

Whether or not Smith will be offered a contract for the coming season remains to be seen. There were whispers hinting that the Lakers were interested in his services, but those talks have since died down a bit. For now, it seems we'll have to wait to see where he lands next.
