When Kevin Durant left the Oklahoma City Thunder in the summer of 2016 for the Golden State Warriors, he was called a snake by NBA fans everywhere.

So of course, Serge Ibaka cooked up a nice little snake for Durant on the latest episode of his show called “How Hungry Are You?”

Durant and Ibaka were teammates on the Thunder and remain close friends. Ibaka was one of the main players on the Toronto Raptors who was telling Raptors fans to stop cheering when Durant tore his Achilles in Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals.

KD, who is now on the Brooklyn Nets, will likely sit out the entire 2019-20 season recovering from his injury. The two-time NBA Finals MVP signed a four-year deal with the Nets this summer, ending his three-year run with the Warriors.

Ibaka is still on the Raptors. Toronto wants to see if Kyle Lowry, Pascal Siakam, Marc Gasol and Ibaka can lead the team in the Eastern Conference this season without Kawhi Leonard, who is now on the Los Angeles Clippers.

Most pundits believe the Raptors, though, will look to trade Lowry, Gasol and Ibaka if the team gets off to a slow start this season.

Kudos to Durant for eating this snake. It's clear the superstar is more comfortable in his skin now after winning two rings in Golden State.
