Damian Lillard, LeBron James and NFL wideout Odell Beckham Jr headlined a video with the ā€œMore Than a Voteā€ organization to encourage fans to cast their ballots prior to the November 3 U.S. Presidential election.

An animated short starring the Portland Trail Blazer point guard, the video sees Lillard interact with not only LeBron James and Beckham Jr, but also Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks, and former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacy Abrams, as he is provided information on how best to cast his ballot.

Though we have seen athletes join ā€œget out the voteā€ drives in the past, this year's election has drawn increasing focus from the NBA's top stars following a wave of protests against police brutality that several players joined and supported. Following protests that took place in Milwaukee during the league's restart in Orlando, several players, LeBron James among them, considered boycotting the remainder of the postseason as a show of solidarity with the movement.

Despite ultimately deciding to continue the season, the players association did extract guarantees from the NBA that it, and the owners, would support social justice causes as well as moves to increase votingā€“such as transforming arenas into voting centers. LeBron James followed these developments closely.

According to information provided by the NBA, 20 arenas have been confirmed to serve the voting process, as either a polling center on election day, a ballot drop location, a voter registration center, or to facilitate early voting. LeBron James helped with this effort in Los Angeles.

With less than 17 days remaining before the conclusion of the election, it is highly likely that the league's most visible stars will increase their efforts for a cause they have shown to highly value. Information regarding how you can vote can be found here.
