Atlanta Hawks star point guard Trae Young sprained his right ankle against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.
Young was forced to leave the game and did not return. He played for roughly 26 minutes and finished with 12 points on 4-of-13 shooting.

Young, who is starting in the All-Star game this February, has tweaked his ankle a few times already. Hopefully, the second-year guard won't miss significant time with his latest injury.
Coming into Saturday, Young was averaging 29.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 9.2 assists for the Hawks. He is also shooting particularly well, registering a 44.6 percent shooting from the field, 37.0 percent from beyond the arc and 84.2 percent from the free-throw line.
Despite his strong individual season, however, Young has failed to lead the Hawks to wins. Atlanta is currently the worst team in the Eastern Conference, with the chance of going into the playoffs looking really slim.
For what it's worth, the Mavs were also without their second-year phenom in Luka Doncic. Luka also has a sprained ankle — which he sustained during Thursday's practice — and is expected to miss at least four more games.
