With under two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Atlanta Hawks rookie Trae Young got a foul and the bucket over Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James.

Check out the clip below posted by Dime. After the switch, Young immediately stepped on the gas pedal and drove hard to the rack. It didn't faze him that it was James — all 6-foot-8 and 250 lbs of him — was right in front. Not only did Young convert on an and-1 opportunity, but he secured a safe cushion for his team.

Young's lay-up proved to be one of the daggers that safely put the Lakers away. With under a minute left, the Lakers tried to mount a comeback but they just didn't have the juice to do so. In the end, the Hawks came away with the victory, 117-113.

Young himself had a double-double with 22 points and 14 assists in 38 minutes of play. He also knocked down three 3-pointers in nine attempts. The win snaps the Hawks' three-game losing streak. They'll host the New York Knicks on Thursday for their final game before the All-Star break.

The Lakers, meanwhile, got contributions from James who had a triple-double, 28 points, 16 assists, and 11 rebounds. Kyle Kuzma and Brandon Ingram chipped in 19 points apiece. They'll enter the All-Star break with back-to-back losses. They'll be back in action on February 21 against the Houston Rockets.
