Damian Lillard wasn't shy to give props when they're due, as his center Jusuf Nurkic fell victim to one of LeBron James' poster dunks last night, commending The Bosnian Beast for daring to challenge The King at the rim.

“It was crazy,” said Lillard of James' monster dunk over Nurkic, according to Sean Highkin. “But when we got to the bench, guys were dapping Nurk up just for being at the rim. He’s done that to plenty of people. It would have been a different story if Nurk had seen him coming and moved out of the way.”

Despite the crazy moment taking place, the Portland Trai Blazers rolled on to win their 11th straight game; still keeping a two-game lead over the trailing Oklahoma City Thunder in search of locking down the third seed in the Western Conference.

Nurkic didn't have the best of games with seven points and 10 rebounds, but the Blazers were able to survive James' onslaught of 35 points and 14 rebounds thanks to a combined effort from their All-Star backcourt.

C.J. McCollum led the way with 29 points and Lillard followed with 22, thanks to a roaring home crowd that seemed to will them through tough stretches.

“Our crowd has been there the entire time,” said Lillard, according to Casey Holdahl of Blazers.com. “Even the games that we struggled at home, the crowd has brought the energy. But I think when you have success they go to another level. We're playing quality basketball. We're protecting our home floor. We're using the energy of the crowd and the fact that we're the home team to our advantage.
