The Brooklyn Nets take on the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday in a game that will have major implications on both teams' playoff hopes this season. Ben Simmons is still out of action for the Nets and the possibility of the former Rookie of the Year sitting out the rest of the season is now sounding like a real possibility.

Nets head coach Steve Nash did not sound optimistic at all as he provided another worrisome update on Simmons' status ahead of the Hawks game:

“He’s on the court a little bit the past couple days, but nothing dynamic,” Nash said, via Charles Odum of Texas Sports Nation, adding Simmons “is not even moving around a lot. He’s just doing some light shooting.”

Based on Nash's brief update here, it is clear that Simmons isn't even close to returning to the court. To make matters worse, the Nets have not provided a firm timetable on his road to recovery.

Simmons made headlines on Friday after he decided to file a grievance against the Sixers for allegedly withholding a significant portion of his salary. He's reportedly seeking up to $20 million from his former team. Clearly, his row against Philly is far from over.
