Brooklyn Nets rookie head coach Steve Nash is all-in on Kevin Durant's redemption this season. The 46-year-old head coach has been liking what he's seeing with his superstar so far this season but also believes that the former MVP is still not at his best.

After their 132-128 OT win over the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, Nash opened up on what he thinks Durant's debut season in Brooklyn has been so far. If you look at Durant's numbers so far this season, then Nash's prediction is definitely worrisome for the rest of the NBA. The two-time Finals MVP has been a walking bucket in his first season in Brooklyn has put himself once again in the early conversations for the league's MVP this season.

With Brooklyn's line-up going through different overhauls a quarter into the season, it's been Durant who's been carrying the load so far for Nash. The 32-year-old has been on an absolute tear with 30.4 points per game average to go alongside 7.6 rebounds and 5.8 assists per contest. Durant's scoring average so far has been his best output since his MVP season in 2014 where he won his fourth scoring title with an average of 32 points per game.

Durant finished their game against Atlanta with a game-high of 32 points to lead the Nets to their third win in as many games. To Nash's benefit, the Slim Reaper's comeback tour is well on its way.
