What else is there to say about the Greek Freak? This guy is really, really freaking good. Milwaukee Bucks superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo almost brought his squad back on the road from a 20-point third quarter deficit against the mighty Boston Celtics.
In 39 minutes of action on Monday night at TD Garden, Atetokounmpo finished with a game-high 40 points on 14-of-24 shots from the field (12-of-14 from the free-throw line), nine rebounds, and four assists. Unfortunately for the Bucks, his superb effort wasn't enough as they fell to the Eastern Conference's top-seeded Celtics, 111-100.
According to a tweet from ESPN Stats & Info, Giannis Antetokounmpo is the only player in the NBA this season to score more than 40 points in three games.

Tonight alone, the Bucks star had three extremely athletic finishes that brought about quite a ruckus on social media. One came very early in the game on a Bucks breakaway, while the other two occurred in the second half as Giannis posterized Celtics center Aron Baynes and then guard Marcus Smart, respectively.
Outside of forward Khris Middleton's 19 points and guard Eric Bledsoe's 18 points, the Bucks did not get much help. The lack of an elite big man in the frontcourt for Milwaukee is a glaring problem, as both John Henson and Thon Maker went scoreless on a combined 0-for-10 from the field.
Entering tonight's contest, Giannis Antetokounmpo was second only to Houston Rockets superstar guard James Harden in the scoring ladder with 29.4 points per game.
