It is no secret that a lot of things have not gone the Boston Celtics' way this 2017-18 season when it comes to consistently staying healthy as a team. Star small forward Gordon Hayward has missed all but one game this year due to a gruesome leg injury and superstar point guard Kyrie Irving was recently shut down for the rest of the regular season and playoffs following knee surgery.

Those two major injuries would typically give a team a lot to feel sorry for themselves over with the odds stacked against them. However, do not tell that to point guard Terry Rozier and his Celtics teammates.

Via a tweet from Celtics.com reporter Taylor Snow:

“Nobody’s looking down, nobody’s depressed, nobody’s walking around with their head down. At the end of the day we’ve still got to get in between the lines and play ball, so there’s no excuses,” Rozier said.

After the Celtics' 111-104 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Friday, head coach Brad Stevens said the plan over Boston's final three games is to give other players rest as well before the playoffs start next week.

“I'd like to get one, possibly two games with our group as is to play before we head in,” coach Stevens said, per Kyle Hightower of the Associated Press. “We'll manage that as we move forward. Knock on wood.”

Boston was without Irving, Hayward, All-Star center Al Horford, and rising star rookie small forward Jayson Tatum on Friday and still managed to put together a solid team effort towards a victory.

Celtics center Greg Monroe recorded his second career triple-double on the night with 19 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. Second-year shooting guard Jaylen Brown was a monster and had a game-high 32 points on 11-of-19 shooting, including 7-of-10 from behind the arc, as Boston improved its record to 54-25.
