The Chicago Bulls are throwing it back next season by bringing back a remastered version their 1990's black pinstriped colorways for their 2019-20 Statement Edition jerseys.

The Bulls have designated six nights on which they will sport the throwbacks, featuring what they call “Statement Edition Nights” once a month. They will first wear these jerseys on November 22 in a home game against the Miami Heat. The other games include a December 6 showdown against the Golden State Warriors, two games in January and March with the Indiana Pacers, the Phoenix Suns in late February, and the Brooklyn Nets in early April.
These pinstripe jerseys were absolute fire in the 1990's. It's great that Chicago is finally bringing them back to the hardwood.

As we all know, the Bulls dominated that particular decade. Led by Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, Chicago won six NBA championships in eight years on separate three-peats. All eyes were on those 1990's Bulls and those black-based jerseys gave them a lot of swagger.
Obviously, their upcoming 2019-20 squad is a far cry from their 90's teams. Nevertheless, their outlook for the future is looking a lot more promising than it has in years past.
Of course, as with any other young team, there will be growing pains for Chicago this season. Still, the Bulls will enter the 2019-20 with lofty aspirations to make the postseason. They have focused on establishing an identity and a culture under hard-nosed head coach Jim Boylen leading the way.
The Bulls feature a young core of Zach LaVine, Lauri Markkanen, Otto Porter Jr. and Wendell Carter Jr. and brought on former North Carolina standout Coby White with the 7th overall pick in the most recent draft.
