Earlier, it was reported that Dwyane Wade and the Chicago Bulls have agreed to part ways via a buyout deal. That means the three-time NBA champion guard is now a free agent.
Although Wade is already 35 years old and comes with a body that has weathered plenty of injuries, there’ll be no shortage of suitors coming his way this offseason. After all, he’s just a season removed from producing respectable numbers of 18.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per game for the Bulls. But before Wade goes back to the drawing board and plans his next moves, the 13-year veteran made sure to express his gratitude to his native city of Chicago.

Wade signed a two-year deal with the Bulls last year, but an uneventful 2016-17 season and a cloudy future must have forced him to ask his release from the team.
