Not too many people will argue against the notion that Michael Jordan is the greatest player to have ever picked up a basketball. For many, this is a known fact about the Chicago Bulls icon. As it turns out, however, we all never got to see the very best of MJ. According to his former Bulls teammate, BJ Armstrong, the Jordan we saw wasn't even the best version of the GOAT.

In a recent episode of The Rex Chapman Show, Armstrong revealed how Jordan was a relentless machine throughout his career. What amazed him the most is how MJ did all that he did with very little to no sleep at all:

“No, Rex is being kind — with no sleep,” said the former Bulls guard. “Okay? If he would have slept, we don't know how good he really would  have been. We didn't see the best of Michael Jordan because he didn't sleep for what, 14 years? Okay, literally.”

Armstrong no longer went into detail as to why the Bulls legend never got a good night's sleep but if you have any idea about Jordan's lifestyle then it wouldn't be too hard to make an assumption here. MJ loved the good life and he wasn't shy about it. He never let this affect his game either, and this is perhaps one of the most underrated aspects of Jordan's greatness.
