Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine had the game of his life on Saturday night when he drilled in 13 three-pointers, including the insane game-winner to complete the come from behind victory over the Charlotte Hornets.

Following the game, Chicago's star of the evening said, per K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago, that he knew the shot was going in as soon as he released it. LaVine also admitted that this was the craziest game he has ever been in.

The lead up to LaVine's game-winning triple has to be one of the wildest sequences of the season so far.

The Hornets appeared to have the game in the bag after Devonte Graham sank the supposed clinching free-throws to give them a five-point lead with 14.7 seconds remaining. However, Chicago went quickly down the court and found Tomas Satoransky for a triple to cut the lead to two with eight seconds to go.

The Bulls hounded the Hornets on the inbound and forced them to a turnover. LaVine came out of the pack with the ball, stepped back outside, rose up, and nailed the go-ahead triple to stun the Charlotte crowd and the local Hornets announcers.

LaVine finished the game with a career-high 49 points. He came up huge in Chicago's come back bid with seven of his 13 triples and 27 of his 49 points coming in the fourth quarter.

LaVine's career performance comes on the heels of a fallout with head coach Jim Boylen. Boylen had some frank criticisms toward his star guard last night when he pulled him early in their contest against the Miami Heat due to some defensive lapses. After hearing Boylen's comments, LaVine expressed his displeasure on his coach's lack of trust in him.

The two reportedly spoke about their issue and ironed things out prior to this road game against the Hornets. It seems like the talk worked with how LaVine performed tonight.
