The NBA's last two minute report from Wednesday's games revealed that Chicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine was fouled by Indiana Pacers star Victor Oladipo with 2.1 seconds left in regulation.

The report says Oladipo made contact with LaVine's arm during his shooting motion that affected his driving shot attempt, which was not called at the time:

The Bulls lost to the Pacers in overtime by a final score of 115-106. Chicago was outscored 15-6 in overtime by Indiana to seal the Pacers' win.

These last two minute reports are always controversial for players, coaches and fans. Bulls fans knew watching the game live that LaVine got fouled by Oladipo, while Pacers fans were thankful the refs called the play in their favor and ultimately helped Indiana get the win in overtime. These calls get missed all the time, so Chicago will have to chalk it up to bad luck and move on.

With the loss, the Bulls dropped to 19-31 on the season. They are in ninth place in the Eastern Conference standings and three games back of the Brooklyn Nets for the eighth and final playoff spot. They are trying to salvage what has been a disappointing season and make a playoff run three years into the rebuild they began in the summer of 2017.

The Pacers, meanwhile, improved to 31-17. They are in fifth place in the East and feeling good about themselves, as Oladipo is back in action and figures to help Indiana climb up in the standings.

Thursday was an overall bad day for LaVine and the Bulls. The guard wasn't named an All-Star reserve, which means his availability for the dunk contest is in doubt.

Orlando Magic big man Aaron Gordon will be in the contest, so hopefully LaVine joins him.
