The Chicago Bulls made the big-splash move this offseason by inking forward Jabari Parker to a two-year, $40 million deal to bring him to his hometown.
According to , Parker had also received interest on the open market from the of Woelfel Press BoxSacramento Kings, Brooklyn Nets, and New York Knicks.

Although he has suffered a pair of ACL tears, Parker has shown plenty of promise to develop into a cornerstone player for the franchise. He has shown that he can be a highly-reliable scorer that has only continued to expand his game to be a more versatile offensive threat. Despite that, there are still some questions about his long-term health due to the type of injuries that he’s already suffered in his first four years in the league.
Parker has a critical campaign ahead of him where he could prove that he can finally fulfill the potential that was set forth ahead of him as being a former second overall pick.
Despite all that interest, Parker chose to join his hometown team alongside their young and promising core that features Zach LaVine, Lauri Markkanen, and Kris Dunn. This could also be a chance for him to showcase that he can lead the franchise as possibly one of their long-term pieces.
