The Chicago Bulls are not having the best of offseasons this year considering that they've just parted ways with one of their top performers in Jimmy Butler, who was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Draft Day.

As part of their rebuilding process this 2017, Fox Sports received word that the Bulls had just signed former LSU guard, Antonio Blakeney, to a two-way contract this Friday.

Blakeney wasn't drafted by any NBA team on June 22. But after a relatively strong showing in this month's NBA Summer League, the 20-year-old Louisiana State product earned himself one of the league's first two-way deals, which will see him split time between the Chicago Bulls' main roster and the team's G-League affiliate, the Windy City Bulls.

In his final year with the LSU Tigers, Blakeney averaged 17.2 points on 45.8 percent field-goal shooting and a little over four rebounds per game. On July 11, Blakeney led the Bulls to their first win in Summer League play by scoring a team-high 21 points on 4-of-5 shooting from three-point range.
