On August 26, a woman named Nykea Aldridge was fatally shot while pushing a stroller in downtown Chicago.

Her death sparked outrage from many who took to social media to show their dismay and hopes of ending these unwanted episodes of violence.

One of them is Nykea's first cousin, Dwyane Wade. He also started the hashtag “Enough is Enough.”

Another known personality also took time to tweet his condolences to the newly-acquired Chicago Bulls guard, and it's no less than Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Though the billionaire misspelled Wade's cousin's name on his initial tweet, he quickly deleted it and posted a new one with the correct spelling.

Based solely on it, it can be viewed as a genuine message of empathy for the 12-time All-Star, but what he Tweeted after it caused quite a stir not only to Wade and his family but to most people who read it.

This has angered a lot of people and they also took to social media to express how they felt for the former “The Apprentice” host. It has also shown how he injected politics in a very harrowing time not only for the city of Chicago but for the whole of the U.S. as well.

When asked by George Stephanopoulos of ABC News about how he felt towards the controversial tweet, Wade had this to say:

“I was grateful that it started a conversation but on the other hand, it just left a bad taste in my mouth because of what my family is dealing with and what our city of Chicago is dealing with and it looks like it’s being used as political gain.”

Whatever Trump's real intentions were when he posted it online is anybody's guess at this point but clearly, Wade is not happy with it.
