Sunday's 2022 NBA All-Star Game was an event that not only produced quite a spectacle for fans to enjoy. It was also an opportunity for the players themselves to bond with one another in a unique environment in which respective team affinities are momentarily set aside. This was exactly the case for Mavs superstar Luka Doncic who decided to go full Sherlock Holmes on his All-Star teammate DeMar DeRozan.

During shootaround, Doncic asked the Chicago Bulls star one very important question: whether or not DeRozan has actually missed a midrange shot in his entire life. The exchange was nothing short of hilarious (h/t #NBAAllStar on Twitter):

Thank God for players getting mic'd up during games. These are the type of awesome moments we all crave for.

Luka Doncic had a straight face on as he submitted his query to DeRozan who initially looked kinda confused. The Mavs star continued to probe with his questions to a point where even reigning MVP Nikola Jokic had to join in on the action.

True enough, DeRozan showcased his midrange prowess in the actual All-Star Game. The Bulls forward scored just 10 points, but two of them came during a crucial juncture in the game as Team LeBron was closing in on the 163-point target. In the end, it was DeRozan, Doncic, and the rest of Team LeBron that came out with the epic victory over Team Durant, 163-160.
