Mark Cuban, it's safe to say, is among the many NBA followers across the country frustrated with Kawhi Leonard. Not because his Fourth of July has been spent scrolling through Twitter for updates on the Finals MVP's free agency destination, though, but because the Dallas Mavericks' offseason plans are on hold until Danny Green makes a decision on his future.

Green, who's made no secret of the reality that he's waiting on Leonard to choose in free agency before doing so himself, said on his podcast, Inside the Green Room with Danny Green, that Cuban and Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle continue making it abundantly clear just how much he's wanted in Dallas. But the LA Clippers, also beholden to Leonard, are “coming on pretty strong” as well.

“I've known Mark Cuban and Rick Carlisle for some time. They have really good interest in me and they're showing it. And they're coming in pretty strong. LA's coming on pretty strong. But LA's waiting on Kawhi. And Toronto is waiting on Kawhi,” he said, per Blake Weir.

“I like what they're bringing to the table. What they're offering. They're coming on strong. You know Mark Cuban's a strong bidder. He's putting the pressure on me to make me make a decision soon.”

Green has played his entire career beside Leonard. The pair were teammates with the San Antonio Spurs for six years before being traded to Toronto last August in a deal that propelled the Raptors to their first title in franchise history, drastically altering the league landscape in the process.

One of the most sought after free agents remaining, Green is considering the Raptors, Clippers, and Mavericks.
