Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James was among the players who chimed in on Luka Doncic's spectacular game-winner for the Dallas Mavericks against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.

James tweeted “BANG BANG,” quoting play-by-play announcer Mike Breen who was on the call for one of the best games of the season.

Doncic's step-back three capped off a 43-point triple-double and leveled the series at two games apiece.

Basketball fans everywhere salivated at a potential “Battle for L.A.” in the Western Conference finals. After all, the Lakers and Clippers entered the playoffs as the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds, respectively, and both teams were in good position to make a deep run.

However, the Mavs might be throwing a wrench in that dream matchup.

Dallas' chances did not appear friendly ahead of Sunday's game. Doncic was a game-time decision after spraining his ankle in Game 3, and Kristaps Porzingis was a late scratch due to right knee soreness.

Nonetheless, the Mavs produced a superb team effort, led by their young superstar. Doncic had 17 rebounds and 13 assists to go along with his 43 points.

Meanwhile, Trey Burke — initially the backup guard to Jalen Brunson — continued his phenomenal play in the “bubble,” scoring 25 points on 10-for-14 shooting from the field. Tim Hardaway Jr. added 21 points and made a number of key shots down the stretch, while Seth Curry scored 15 off the bench.

LeBron James might not mind Luka Doncic and the Mavs playing spoiler, though the Lakers still have to take care of their own business against the eighth-seeded Portland Trail Blazers.
