With his remarkable play throughout the first half of the season, Dallas Mavericks rookie sensation Luka Doncic is currently the frontrunner to bag the Rookie of the Year award by the end of his debut campaign.
However, the 19-year-old is not only an absolute stud on the basketball court. As it turns out, he's actually a pretty nice guy as well. His genuinely good nature was on full display on Saturday night when Doncic checked to make sure that the cameraman was alright after an accidental collision following a broken play.

Doncic was fouled by Philadelphia 76ers big man Mike Muscala on a layup attempt. The rookie lost his balance and ended up taking out a cameraman that was positioned under the basket. The cameraman did appear to get hurt, so Doncic stayed for a minute or so to make sure that he was going to be okay.
Article Continues BelowIt was a relatively quiet night for Doncic against the Sixers on Saturday, as the youngster scored only 14 points on 4-of-16 shooting. Doncic went 1-of-8 from distance and made only 5-of-10 of his attempts from the charity stripe. He did have eight rebounds, four assists, two steals, and no turnovers, so he was somehow able to salvage an otherwise disappointing evening.
Doncic and the Mavs had no answer to the Sixers, who were able to secure the home victory with a final score of 106-100. This was thanks in large part to the trio of Joel Embiid (25 points, 12 rebounds), Ben Simmons (20 points, 14 rebounds, 11 assists), and JJ Reddick (20 points, two three-pointers).
With the loss, the Mavs are now 18-21 and are currently three games outside the Playoffs picture in the West.
