Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic is a passing genius. He proved as much on Friday against the Portland Trail Blazers.

After dishing  out an over-the-head assist to Tim Hardaway Jr. in the second quarter of the game, Doncic followed it up with another spectacular no-look dime to Maxi Kleber in the third quarter.

As he drove to the basket and attracted the defenders, the Mavs star made the Blazers pay again for leaving his teammates outside. Doncic clearly had it all planned out since as soon as the Portland players crowded on him, he sent the ball outside to Kleber, who drained the triple.

Here's a closer look at the play:

Luka Doncic may not be the most athletic player, but there's no doubt his basketball IG is off the charts. He uses his body well to score, and when he's heavily guarded, he is more than capable of dishing the rock to his open Mavs teammates.

Unfortunately, despite such passing display from the Slovenian, the Mavs came up short against the Blazers. Portland came out with a 125-119 victory, with Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum combining for 63 points.

Doncic had 38 points, nine rebounds and nine assists. However, he didn't get much help, with Tim Hardaway Jr. the only other Mavs player to score more than 20 points. Kristaps Porzingis had a poor outing, finishing with only 11 points and eight rebounds.

while the loss is undoubtedly frustrating, seeing Luka have another out-of-this-world game should be encouraging for the Mavs and their fan base.
