Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant gave his take on the possibility of having Dallas Mavericks rookie sensation Luka Doncic in the 2019 NBA All-Star Game in February.
Durant believes that there are a lot of deserving players in the league today. The two-time NBA Finals Most Valuable Player then added that Doncic's poise for the game is laudable for a rookie, but he is not too surprised with it.
“He's big and strong, can pass, can play in the pick-and-roll,” Durant said of Doncic via Mark Medina of The Mercury News. “He played in Europe last season. The rest of the rookie class played in college. So he's in the second-best league in the world learning how to play the game.”
